LV Aerial Bundled Cable for Low-Voltage Distribution
LV aerial bundled cable combines individually insulated aluminium conductors in a compact 0.6/1 kV overhead distribution assembly. Depending on the applicable standard or utility specification, the conductors use PE or XLPE insulation and form either a self-supporting bundle or a neutral-messenger arrangement. Available configurations include phase, neutral and public-lighting cores for urban, rural and street-lighting networks, with conductor sizes, identification and delivery lengths selected for the required system.
Product Overview
The electrical and mechanical functions of an LV ABC are distributed differently according to its construction. Equal-core self-supporting designs share the suspended load through the assembled insulated cores, whereas neutral-messenger designs use a designated supporting conductor. The insulation material, lay direction, core marking and reduced-size lighting cores also vary between standards, so these features must remain connected to the exact cable configuration.
BS 7870-5, HD 626, NF C 33-209, AS/NZS 3560.1 and utility-specific designs are not automatically interchangeable. Selection should begin with the governing specification and network drawing, followed by the complete core formula, conductor sizes, support arrangement, route conditions and required fittings. LV ABC is a multi-core low-voltage bundle; it should not be confused with a single covered line wire or a medium-voltage aerial bundle.

- Core identification:Phase, neutral and optional public-lighting cores carry the colour, stripe, ridge or printed identification specified by the applicable standard, allowing installers to distinguish each circuit function consistently.
- Equal-core and messenger support:Equal-core and neutral-messenger designs distribute mechanical load differently; retaining the correct support concept helps suspension clamps, anchor fittings and span calculations work with the cable construction.

From Production to Delivery
From raw material preparation to final shipmen, every stage is caretuly controled to ensure consistent conductor quality, reliable pertormance,and sae delivery. Our roduction,
inspection, packaging, and logistics processes are managed in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Production
Aluminium wires are stranded or compacted to the required conductor design, each core receives the specified PE or XLPE insulation, and the completed cores are assembled into the selected self-supporting or neutral-messenger bundle.
Inspection
Inspection covers conductor construction, insulation thickness and surface, core identification, lay length, finished dimensions and the electrical or mechanical tests listed in the purchase specification and applicable cable schedule.
Packaging
The completed bundle is wound on a drum sized for its diameter and requested delivery length, with cable ends sealed and the outer layers protected against crushing, abrasion and contamination during handling.
Shipping
Before dispatch, drum markings and shipping records identify the voltage designation, complete core formula, standard, length and manufacturing batch so that the receiving team can match each drum to its installation section.

Which LV ABC construction is likely to suit my network?
The first decision is whether the governing utility system uses an equal-core self-supporting bundle or a dedicated neutral-messenger construction.
