From Production to Delivery
From raw material preparation to final shipmen, every stage is caretuly controled to ensure consistent conductor quality, reliable pertormance, and sae delivery. Our roduction,
inspection, packaging, and logistics processes are managed in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Production
Stranded annealed copper conductors are insulated with XLPE, assembled into the required multicore configuration, optionally filled and bound with polyester tape, then covered with the specified black PVC sheath.
Inspection
Inspection focuses on conductor construction, insulation condition, core identification, sheath integrity, overall diameter, conductor resistance and test-voltage requirements against the approved technical schedule.
Packaging
Finished cable is wound on suitable drums according to ordered size, weight and length. Cable ends are protected and drum identification can include cable type, conductor size, core count, length and project reference.
Shipping
Before shipment, cable drums and technical documents are checked against the order. Inspection records, identification data and requested test documentation can be prepared for the customer.

faq
What is a TTU cable and what does it stand for?
TTU stands for Tree Wire Triplex Underground cable. It is a type of low-voltage power cable specifically designed for underground distribution systems, typically used to connect utility transformers to residential or commercial service entrances. Our TTU cable is built with XLPE insulation and copper conductors for superior performance and durability.
What voltage ratings does this cable support?
This TTU cable is rated for 600V and 2000V applications, making it suitable for a wide range of low-voltage power distribution and lighting circuits in both industrial and commercial facilities.
What standards and certifications does this cable comply with?
Our TTU cable is manufactured in full compliance with:
ASTM-B3 — Standard for Soft or Annealed Copper Wire
ICEA S-95-658 / NEMA WC70 — Standard for Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) Insulated Wire and Cable
These certifications ensure the cable meets strict industry quality, safety, and performance requirements.
What are the key advantages of choosing XLPE-insulated TTU cable over other types?
The main advantages are:
Higher temperature rating — XLPE can operate at higher continuous temperatures than PVC-insulated cables
Superior mechanical strength — Resistant to impact, abrasion, and environmental stress
Direct burial capability — No need for conduit in many underground applications
Longer service life — XLPE insulation is more durable and has a longer lifespan
Copper conductor performance — Lower resistance, better conductivity, and higher current-carrying capacity
How do I determine the correct cable size for my project?
The correct cable size depends on your specific load current, voltage drop requirements, installation method, and ambient temperature conditions. We recommend consulting a qualified electrical engineer or referring to the NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines for proper sizing. You can also contact our technical support team for assistance — simply click the ”Inquiry” button on the product page.
What is the typical lead time for orders?
Typical production lead times:
- Standard specifications (common sizes): 7-15 working days after order confirmation
- Custom specifications or special requirements: 15-25 working days
- Large volume orders: production schedule confirmed at time of order
We also maintain inventory of fast-moving standard sizes for immediate shipment. Transit time depends on destination port and shipping method. We can ship by sea (most cost-effective for large orders), air (urgent shipments), or rail (for Central Asian destinations).
