AS/NZS 5000.1 Multicore + Earth Control Cable 0.6/1kV
AS/NZS 5000.1 Multicore + Earth Control Cable is a 0.6/1kV PVC insulated and PVC sheathed copper control cable for fixed commercial, industrial, mining and utility circuits. Available in 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² conductor sizes from 2C+E to 50C+E, it is intended for unenclosed, conduit, direct-buried and underground-duct installations where additional mechanical armour is not required.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The cable uses plain annealed copper conductors with PVC V-90 insulation, white numbered control cores and a green/yellow earth conductor, finished with a PVC 5V-90 outer sheath. The 1.5 mm² range uses 7/0.50 mm conductors, while the 2.5 mm² range uses 7/0.67 mm conductors. Both sizes are available across multicore-plus-earth constructions from 2C+E to 50C+E.
As an unarmoured control cable, the construction is suited to fixed installations where the route is not exposed to significant mechanical damage. Its numbered cores, dedicated earth conductor and wide multicore range make it suitable for control panels, process systems, utility auxiliary circuits and other installations requiring multiple control functions within one cable.

From Production to Delivery
From raw material preparation to final shipmen, every stage is caretuly controled to ensure consistent conductor quality, reliable pertormance, and sae delivery. Our roduction,
inspection, packaging, and logistics processes are managed in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Production
Plain annealed copper conductors are stranded to the specified construction, insulated with PVC V-90, laid up with the required green/yellow earth conductor, and finished with a PVC 5V-90 outer sheath. Conductor size, core count, insulation thickness and cable dimensions follow the approved design.
Inspection
Inspection focuses on conductor construction, insulation condition, earth-core identification, sheath quality, overall dimensions and finished-cable electrical performance. Key dimensional items and conductor resistance are checked against the approved technical schedule.
Packaging
Finished cables are wound onto suitable drums according to ordered cable size and length. Cable ends are secured and protected, and drum identification can include cable type, conductor size, core configuration, length and project reference.
Shipping
Before shipment, cable drums and accompanying documents are checked against the order and packing list. Product identification, inspection records and technical documentation can be prepared according to customer and project requirements.
